We've been eagerly anticipating this night for some time now and it is finally upon us. The Outfit is ready to share their brand-new EP Tough Kids and are celebrating with a CD release party at the Larimer Lounge this Saturday. They'll be joined on stage by Faceman and Gun Street Ghost. "An Evening With the Fine Gentleman's Club," the debut comedy album Chris Charpentier, Bobby Crane, Nathan Lund, and Sam Tallent recorded last Halloween at the legendary Comedy Works is finally here! Help celebrate the release with a party at tomorrow's very special album-release edition of the Fine Gents' weekly Too Much Fun show at the Deerpile. As always, the event is absolutely free and features tons of amazing guest comics. The Skeleton Show Releases New Singles

Denver garage-rockers The Skeleton Show have released the first batch of what is to be a series of singles via their Bandcamp page along with a mission statement of sorts...

“The Skeleton Show presents a product that is HIGHLY INFLUENECED by the consumer products that give us an illusion of freedom./ ;) Can ya hear it? Ya gotta listen with a wink and a smile. Princess Music album release show with the Odobenidae Chamber Orchestra tonight

Tonight is the night! While the official release of Odobobenidae isn't until September 3rd, Denver area Princess Music fans can get their hands on a copy of the new record a bit early at the band's special performance at the Bluebird Theatre. Joining the band on stage will be the 17-piece Odobenidae Chamber Orchestra as well as Stelth Ulvang (formerly of the Dovekins and more recently the Lumineers touring band) and Hot Congress labelmates Distant Correspondent, who will be making their on-stage debut.

Fingers of the Sun to cover "After The Goldrush" for Twist and Shout's monthly series On The Cover

Tonight at the hi-dive (7 S. Broadway,) Fingers of the Sun will be paying tribute to Neil Young's iconic 1970 album, "After the Goldrush" as part of the new monthly series On The Cover, presented by Twist and Shout Records. In advance of the show Spork, Twist and Shouts online blog, handed the reins to Fingers of the Sun's guitarist and vocalist Nathan Barsness to explain what Neil Young's music and "After the Gold Rush" mean to him. It's much more eloquent than anything else I could write about it, so I'll just re-post below....
